This page documents some of the events of early April, 2009. It was pieced together from remnants of private messages and RLC™ Articles discussions. It is an incomplete creation; much of the pertinent subject matter quickly became "disappeared". For some time, PLAYINGMANTIS (named for the company that produces Johnny Lightning® cars— Hot Wheels' biggest competitor) had been an outspoken critic of HotWheelsCollectors.com and its Red Line Club™. Rex Monaco played the part of corporate cheerleader, and across a variety of discussion Subjects, the arguments between the two of them became increasingly vocal and harsh. |

I would hope this won't turn into an overwhelmingly negative tirade-laden thread that gets shut down and "mod'ed" to death before we collectors can voice our concerns and hopefully be heard by Mattel.

I was willing to let bygones be bygones after the last round, but then my thread on Indycars got highjacked by the slow kid and his dad. I still reserve the right to state my opinion on any subject in any thread at anytime. And I look forward to reading intelligent, well-thought out responses to my opinions. But all name calling from the slow kid and his dad will be responded to in kind. |

My apologies in advance to HWC Ryan and the HWC community for posting on this thread. Playingmantis and Rex Monaco, both of you are being reported by multiple members. Please take your fighting off this site. If you have no civil discourse for one another, ignore each other. You two continually fight across this site, and all the petty bickering is getting old. The next time we have to visit this issue, it will be a moderation notification. Trust me, no one wants it to come to that. Thanks Edited – I removed the next 3 posts that inflamed this argument, please keep your posts on this thread to questions for HWC Ryan only, thanks.
